A digital commemoration project for fallen soldiers and terror victims using short memorial videos activated via customized stickers.
Nimrod Milstein and Rotem Dozats, friends from their army service, launched this unique initiative after noticing hundreds of memorial stickers across Israel. Nimrod, a tech professional at NESS, and Rotem, a skilled videographer and editor, combined their talents to transform static memorials into living, heartfelt stories. Since its founding, the two have produced dozens of moving remembrance videos—entirely as volunteers.
The “Tamid” initiative creates short, emotional videos to honor those who fell during the Iron Swords War and other security incidents. Each video is tailor-made based on materials provided by the family—photos, personal stories, and home videos. The video is viewable when someone scans a special memorial sticker using their smartphone camera. These stickers are placed in meaningful public locations, allowing passersby to connect personally with the story behind the face.
This project combines accessibility, technology, and emotion, offering families a meaningful way to remember their loved ones while giving the public an opportunity to learn about the fallen in a personal, respectful way. The service is entirely free and offered as an act of heartfelt commitment to the bereaved families.
Estimated Budget: ₪50,000
