366 first aid kits will be distributed to field volunteers of “Rescuers Without Borders” (SSF), in partnership with the Benita Family Foundation and Or LeTekuma – in memory of the 378 victims of the Nova Festival massacre.
Each kit is a living act of remembrance – a commemoration that saves lives.
Note: The number of kits (366) is lower than the number of victims (378) since some couples and/or families chose to commemorate their loved ones with a shared kit.
On October 7, 2023, at the Nova Festival in southern Israel, 378 young men and women were brutally murdered by Hamas terrorists. They came to celebrate life – and became a symbol of national pain.
This project was born from a commitment: not to let memory fade into silence.
To act for life – in their memory.
As part of the We Will Save Again commemoration program – a joint initiative of SSF – Rescuers Without Borders, the Benita Family Foundation, and OR LATKUMA – 366 first aid kits will be distributed, one for each victim or couple/family, and will be handed over to the organization’s field volunteers in a moving ceremony alongside the bereaved families.
Each kit bears the name of the victim and will be used in practice to save lives across the country.
The kits are presented in touching ceremonies in Israel, in a human chain format:
A donor gives the kit to the victim’s family, and they pass it on to the volunteer who will operate it.
100 kits have already been distributed in memory of 100 victims. 266 kits remain to complete the initiative.
Connection and values:
This initiative touches the core of human values: the sanctity of life, love of humanity, and moral action through giving, rescue, and living remembrance.
“Whoever saves one life – it is as if he saved an entire world.”
Through each delivered kit – the victims’ path continues to pulse in new life.
Project Budget:
• Cost of one kit: $2,600
• Total cost to complete the remaining 266 kits: $691,600
The kits include advanced medical equipment for field care: first aid, CPR, trauma treatment, and emergency response.
