Michal Admoni was a beloved and respected family woman who lived in Kfar Aza. On the day of the terrorist attack, she remained at home feeling unwell, and Guy chose to stay with her to protect her. They were murdered together by terrorists while embracing. “In life and in death, they were not parted.”
On October 7, 2023, during the brutal Hamas terrorist attack on southern Israel, Guy and his mother Michal were at their home in Kfar Aza. Guy had stayed by her side due to her health condition. As terrorists infiltrated their home, both were murdered while holding each other.
The project envisions the creation of a boutique winery, wine bar, and visitors’ center in Kfar Aza in memory of Guy and Michal. It reflects the family’s vision to create something meaningful that bridges the past and present, and combines personal remembrance with cultural enrichment.
The winery will produce high-quality wine and serve as a community hub through its wine bar and visitor experiences. The visitors’ center will offer guided tours, wine tastings, workshops, and cultural activities. A key component will be its focus on heritage, with storytelling and programming dedicated to the lives and legacy of Guy and Michal.
The site will also host community events that promote resilience, unity, and engagement with the land and its people—strengthening ties between local residents and their collective story.
The family’s shared love for wine culture, vineyards, and visiting wineries inspired this memorial initiative. Guy, Michal, and their family enjoyed wine tours and had a deep appreciation for the atmosphere and community such places foster. This project will transform those shared memories into a living memorial—rooted in agriculture, culture, and togetherness.
Estimated Budget: ₪100,000
